How can we touch the hearts of our fellow brothers and sisters if we, ourselves, are not prepared to give our hearts and minds to the Lord…if we, ourselves, are not present in the mass…our thoughts instead on our own problems, our fears, our struggles. A music minister must be selfless. We must give everything we have–our time, talents, and industry–to God and to the ones we serve.
