Gathering | Our God Is Here

Here in the Word
God is revealed
here where the wounded can be healed
Here in our hearts
here in our lives
Our God is here

Here we become
what we receive
here in this Eucharistic feast
We are His body
living as one
Our God is here

And we cry, “Holy! Holy! Holy are You!”
We cry, “Holy! Holy! Holy and true!”
Amen, we do believe our God is here
Our God is here

And we cry, “Holy! Holy! Holy are You!”
We cry, “Holy! Holy! Holy and true!”
Amen, we do believe our God is here
Our God is here

Responsorial Psalm | Ps. 78 The Lord Gave Them Bread From Heaven

The Lord gave them bread from heaven.

R./ The Lord gave them bread from heaven.

What we have heard and know,
and what our fathers have declared to us,
We will declare to the generation to come
the glorious deeds of the LORD and his strength
and the wonders that he wrought.

R./ The Lord gave them bread from heaven.

He commanded the skies above
and opened the doors of heaven;
he rained manna upon them for food
and gave them heavenly bread.

R./ The Lord gave them bread from heaven.

Man ate the bread of angels,
food he sent them in abundance.
And he brought them to his holy land,
to the mountains his right hand had won.

R./ The Lord gave them bread from heaven. (x2)

Preparation of the Gifts | We Walk by Faith

We walk by faith and not by sight
No gracious words we hear
From Christ who spoke as none e’er spoke
But we believe Him near
We may not touch the hands and side
Nor follow where He trod
Yet in the promise we rejoice and cry

We cry, “My Lord and God
You are my Lord and God
You are my Lord and God
You will always be the Lord of all of me”

Help then O Lord our unbelief
And may our faith abound
To call on You when You are near
And seek where You are found
Then when our life of faith is done
In realms of clearer light
We may behold You as You are
In full and endless sight

“My Lord and God
You are my Lord and God
You are my Lord and God
You will always be the Lord of all of me”

Repeat Refrain if necessary

Communion | I Am the Bread of Life (Come and Follow Me)

(Men)
I am the bread of Life
I am the hope in night
I am the door wide open
I am the shepherd’s might
I am the truth and light
I am the way and life
I am who am and I am for you
Come and follow me

(Women)
I am bread for the world
hope for the hopeless
Come to me, and know that I’ll always be there
with my arms open wide
I am who am and I am for you
Come and follow me

(Parts together)
I am the bread of Life
I am the hope in night
I am the door wide open
I am the shepherd’s might
I am the truth and light
I am the way and life
I am who am and I am for you
Come and follow me

I give my heart to those in sorrow
I come to those who are in need
hope for today and for tomorrow
light for all who want to see

(Parts together)
I am the bread of Life
I am the hope in night
I am the door wide open
I am the shepherd’s might
I am the truth and light
I am the way and life
I am who am and I am for you
Come and follow me

Reflection | In You, O Lord

In You, O Lord
I have found my peace
In You, O Lord
I have found my joy

I cry unto You
and You lead me home
You are peace
You are joy
You are God

In You, O Lord
I have found my strength
In You, O Lord
I have found my hope

I cry unto You
and You hear my voice
You are strength
You are hope
You are God

I cry unto You
and You lead me home
You are peace
You are joy
You are God
